AMBURANA IS NEXT.
PRE-SALE IS OPEN.

Single Barrel
Wheated Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Finished with Amburana Wood
Amburana is the fifth wood in Jeff’s finishing program and the first from outside North America. One small batch. Pre-sale only. Signed by Jeff.
This is a limited release, available by pre-sale only. We expect it to sell out before pre-sale closes. No hunting required. Reserve your bottle and it is yours.
Spirit Profile
Amburana is sometimes called Brazilian oak, but it is not oak at all. It is a lighter wood with a tight, interlocking grain, and it carries cinnamon, clove, and tropical spice in the grain itself. Rested in our four-grain bourbon, those notes do not sit on top of the whiskey. They become it. Warmth up front. Baking spice through the middle. A finish closer to dessert than any bourbon we have made.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if it sells out before October 2nd?
re-sale ends early. We expect that to happen, so do not wait for the deadline. Once the batch is fully reserved, the only bottles left are the ones already spoken for.
When can I pick up my bottle?
Pickup begins Grains & Grits weekend, Saturday, November 7, 2026, at our Townsend distillery.
Do I have to pick it up that weekend?
No. That weekend is just the start. Your bottle will be held for you, so come by whenever you are next in the area.
Can I pick up at Thompson’s Station or Lynchburg?
No. All Amburana pre-sale pickups happen at Townsend.
Can you ship my bottle?
No. Tennessee alcohol regulations require in-person pickup with valid ID.
Is every bottle really signed?
Yes. Jeff Arnett signs every bottle in this release by hand.
What is the gift?
That stays a surprise until pickup. It is our thank you for being early.
Will there be more after pre-sale closes?
Not from this batch. If Amburana earns a permanent place in the finishing program, you will hear about it from our list first.
“Every wood in our finishing program earned its place because of what it gave to the whiskey. Amburana gave it something none of the others could. I think you’ll taste that in the first sip.”

Jeff Arnett, Founder & 2017 Master Distiller of the Year
