Whiskey Finished with Pecan Wood

Initially released for the 2025 Grains & Grits festival in Townsend, our Straight Tennessee Whiskey Finished with Pecan Wood is something completely new from Jeff Arnett. Toasted pecan wood imparts a rich, nutty flavor and subtle sweetness that complement the natural caramel and vanilla notes found in our Tennessee whiskey. The toasting process gently activates the wood’s aromatic compounds without overwhelming the spirit, offering a distinctive flavor profile that sets it apart from traditional oak finishes.

The initial bottling is a special release cask-strength version and extremely limited in supply. At 62.4% ABV, it is our highest bottling proof to date, with a high character to match. The grain bill is 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley. Mellowed through hard sugar maple charcoal.
